The Living Lab @ the MET is a project for the Sunshine Coast community.

By working together to make our city spaces greener, cooler and more productive, we make our urban environment a more comfortable and stimulating place to be.

Small in size, big on impact, this project will evolve over time.

In addition to our urban greening projects, we will be hosting a series of workshops, talks, art installations and activations here where you can learn new skills, engage with different ideas, connect with people and have fun discovering our future city.

Everyone is welcome at the Living Lab.

The Living Lab is an initiative of the Sunshine Coast Living Smart Program in partnership with SunCentral Maroochydore and the MET

We acknowledge the Traditional owners, the Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi people, of the land on which we live and work. We pay our deep respect to their elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today, throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
