Join Cath Manuel, podcaster of Soil to Supper and therapeutic horticulturalist as she leads us through a range of garden based activities to escape the stressors of everyday life and cultivate wellbeing.
The benefits of getting your hands dirty in the garden are well documented and supported by research. This unique approach to gardening is commonly used in a number of community settings such as aged care, rehabilitation and mental health treatment making connections from gardening to our one’s own experiences in life.
Proven to improve mood, memory and cognition, social skills, planning and problem solving skills and reducing stress, this workshop will guide you through a techniques to practice at home for your own wellness and sense of calm.
