About the MET

The MET (Metropolitan) is a purpose-built space designed for community gatherings in the heart of the Maroochydore City Centre. Since its opening in August 2019, it’s been home to a range of events, exhibitions and industry programs connecting business, community and culture.

With its versatile layout, the MET serves as a dynamic venue for a variety of community gatherings, from small private functions to large-scale events of over 2,000 people.

As the host of key events like the Maroochydore Moonlight Markets, Frothies and Fido Fridays, and Street to Stage Sundays, the MET plays a vital role in connecting community and businesses and promoting engagement across the arts, design and technology sectors.
