Paper Lantern Making Workshop

Work with experienced art facilitators, Sue Davis (Wild/Flower Women) and Chony Bowden (Chony's Art Room) to create your own paper lantern in response to local flower inspiration.

All materials provided as you are guided through a process to create your beautiful illuminated bloom.

Hopefully you will create two, one to take home and one to leave for our CITY BLOOM installation event in March.

Limited numbers - 15 participants only.

These workshops are part of the CITY BLOOM project as part of the Place Activation Grant Program.

The Place Activation Grant Program is an initiative of the Maroochydore City Centre delivered in partnership with Walker Corporation, SunCentral and Sunshine Coast Council

Directory

We acknowledge the Traditional owners, the Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi people, of the land on which we live and work. We pay our deep respect to their elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today, throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
