The Design Series | Future Coast

Comedian and self-described design nerd, Tim Ross gets out the crystal ball to ponder what the Sunshine Coast will look like in 2030 and beyond. With us staring down the barrel of huge population growth and upwards and outwards sprawl, Tim asks how we will live in the future and how can we have a say in it?

Enter Ben Johnston,

Ben believes in 'using technology to make a better world, not a busier one. It should improve our real lives. The ones we live off screen. The ones that are messy and beautiful and sad and hilarious. That are muddy and chaotic and boring and bold'.

Co-founder and CEO of Josephmark, Ben will continue this theme exploring how digital products can change the way we work, play and connect, focusing on developing ecosystems for bigger thinking and intentional problem solving. Ben will also share his own living lab experiment with a multigenerational living / business on his farm on the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
