Build and discover the fun of the Maroochydore City Centre these school holidays!
At the heart of the City Centre, The MET transforms into a playground full of loose parts, construction materials and kitchen garden building this September holidays.
Kids, big and small, are invited to dream, imagine, design and create their own buildings out of discarded materials and learn new skills in our 3 day City Makers program guided by qualified adventure play staff from Wildlings Forest School.
As an extra bonus, brought to you by the Living Smart Program and Sunshine Coast Council, Robyn Cook (The Kitchen Garden Teacher) and Blake (Akuna Veggie Gardeners) will be on site creating a pop up Kitchen Garden at the MET precinct. You can help layer, plant and mulch the garden, design your own seasonal planting plan, make your own special fabric placemat and pot a plant to take home (bring your own small pot or container).
Bring your little builders, young gardeners, future designers and your Wildlings for a morning of school holiday fun!
Recommended for ages 3+ but all ages welcome under direct parent supervision. This is not a drop-off event. Parents must be present on site with their children. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL!
